About This Blog

In order to more fruitfully analyze the life and legacy of Bishop Lawson, I looked for major themes that characterized his ministry. In doing so, I found six aspects that could be said to compass Lawson's public life, and they are as follows:
  1. Spirituality.
  2. Doctrine and liturgy.
  3. Ministry (the execution of).
  4. Temporal themes (secular accomplishment and involvements).
  5. Marriage and family.
  6. Women.
Using these six themes, we will analyze the life and views of Bishop Lawson in the context of Pentecostalism, social developments in America during the first half of the 20th century, and in the retrospect of today's developing religious and social scene.
